Life on the Porch: My Story
How God Used Stillness, Recovery, and Rediscovery to Rebirth Aim High Team
I’m Pharmacist Keith Abell, and if you’re reading this, I want you to know something right from the start — you’re not here by accident. God has a way of guiding us through seasons we never planned, and this past year has been one of those seasons for me.
It began quietly, almost subtly, with lingering health issues after COVID exposure. I’ve spent decades teaching wellness, decades helping people build healthier lives, and yet my own body wasn’t responding the way it used to. That was unsettling. It made me pause. It made me pray. And it made me dig deeper — something I’ve always done, whether it was challenging misleading omega‑3 studies or questioning the way mainstream health frames chronic illness.
In the middle of that search, I reached out to someone I had respected from afar for years — Jeff Altgilbers. I knew his reputation. I knew the legacy he had built. When I contacted him, he didn’t send me a link or a brochure. He invited me to his home in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
That visit changed everything.
We sat at his table, talked for hours, and reviewed the science behind Transfer Factors — immune intelligence, cellular communication, the body’s God‑designed ability to learn and respond. I started the products, not as a business decision, but as a personal one. And over time, I noticed meaningful improvements. Enough to get my attention. Enough to make me ask God, “Is this the next chapter?”
Then January arrived, and life took another unexpected turn.
I found out I needed ankle‑replacement surgery — something I never imagined I’d face. The pain had been building for years, but hearing the words “replacement surgery” hit me harder than I expected. Surgery finally happened in June, and suddenly I was forced into a season of stillness.
Eleven weeks.
No travel.
No rushing.
No distractions.
Just stillness.
And in that stillness, God began speaking in ways I couldn’t ignore.
He asked me deeper questions:
What are you building with the years you have left?
Who are you called to serve?
What legacy will outlive you?
I sat on my porch many mornings during recovery — praying, thinking, reading, writing. And in that quiet space, God started connecting dots I had ignored for years. My pharmacy training. My Catholic formation. My wellness mission. My ancestry. My desire to leave something behind for my grandchildren. All of it started pointing in one direction: legacy.
As I healed, I kept returning to the science behind Transfer Factors — not hype, not marketing, but real immune intelligence. And I kept returning to the conversations Jeff and I had shared. Something inside me knew this wasn’t just about my health. It was about my mission.
That’s when Aim High Team began to take shape again — not as a business, but as a community.
A place where faith and wellness walk hand in hand.
A place where ordinary families can rise into hope, dignity, and new options.
A place where legacy matters.
Aim High Team stands on four pillars and one unifying flame:
- Faith — God walks with us on the road, just like Emmaus.
- Science — Transfer Factors and immune intelligence.
- Wellness — Simple habits, real results.
- Income — Hope, dignity, and options for ordinary families.
- Legacy — The flame that ties it all together.
My journey this past year has been one long reminder:
God uses stillness to redirect us.
He uses setbacks to reposition us.
He uses recovery to reveal purpose.
And now, as I step into this next chapter, I’m committed to building something that outlives me — something rooted in faith, science, wellness, income, and legacy.
If my story resonates with you… if you feel that gentle nudge… maybe God is inviting you to rise with us.
I’d be honored to walk this road together.
Meet Jeff Altgilbers
Jeff is the leader and mentor I’m partnering with on this relaunch. I knew of him in the industry and respected him, but when I reached out, he invited me to his home in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. That conversation and the science we reviewed changed everything for me.
This 10-minute video shares Jeff’s powerful journey and why I trust him as a mentor.
Do Life Differently™
This inspiring 4Life video captures the heart behind the choices we make and the legacy we can build.
Why Transfer Factors Matter
Transfer Factors support the body’s ability to learn, adapt, and respond — what scientists call immune intelligence. This isn’t hype. This isn’t marketing. This is real cellular communication.
For me, it became the missing piece.
